Professor Fraser Sturt is a Deputy Director of the Southampton Marine and Maritime Institute (SMMI) and Professor of Maritime Archaeology at the University of Southampton. His research integrates geospatial data and interdisciplinary methods to explore maritime prehistory, environmental impact assessment, and community-focused initiatives. He leads projects funded by organizations such as the AHRC, Leverhulme Trust, and Royal Academy of Engineering.
