Fraser D Russell

Associate Professor Fraser Russell is a faculty member in the School of Health at the University of the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia. His primary research focus lies in cardiovascular pharmacology and natural product therapies, particularly examining the anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant properties of Australian honeys and omega-3 fatty acids for treating inflammation-related conditions like abdominal aortic aneurysms and diabetic foot ulcers.

He serves as an Associate Editor for Frontiers in Nutrition - Nutritional Immunology and BMC Complementary Medicine and Therapies, and chairs the UniSC Student General Grievance Panel.
