Franziska Veit is a PhD candidate in the Research Training Group 'The Dynamics of Demography, Democratic Processes and Public Policy' (DYNAMICS), jointly organized by the Hertie School and Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. She holds a Master's degree in Social Sciences from Humboldt University and a Bachelor's degree in Politics & Economics from the University of Münster. Her research focuses on the political consequences of post-industrial labor market changes, political socialization, and intergenerational family dynamics. Her dissertation project, titled 'Inheriting Uncertainty? Intergenerational Perspectives on Risk and Political Attitudes', explores how economic and social risks shape political attitudes across generations.
During her studies, Franziska worked as a student assistant at the Chair of Political Sociology and Social Policy. Her work bridges theoretical and empirical analyses of contemporary socio-political challenges.
