Prof. Dr. Franziska Meier is a Professor of Romance Literature and Comparative Literature at the University of Göttingen, affiliated with the Seminar for Romance Philology. Her research spans Dante Studies, Giovanni Boccaccio, and intersections of autobiography, epistolary culture, and text-image relationships in the Italian Renaissance, alongside comparative analyses of Italian and French fascist-era literature and theoretical frameworks for literary history.
