Frans Wiering is an Associate Professor at the Interaction Technology division of the Department of Information and Computing Sciences at Utrecht University. His research bridges computer science and musicology, focusing on music information retrieval (projects: WITCHCRAFT, C-Minor, COGITCH), computational musicology (Tunes and Tales, Transforming Musicology), and music technology for games (COMMIT work package).
