About
Frank Lindseth is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science at NTNU, where he leads the NTNU Autonomous Perception lab (NAP-lab) and co-directs the Visual Computing group. As a core member of the Norwegian Open AI-Lab (NAIL), his research bridges Visual Computing, AI, and real-world applications in mobility and healthcare.
He holds leadership roles in multiple initiatives: Mobility lead for Green2050 Centre, Digital Technology lead for MoST - MobilityLab Stor-Trondheim, and core membership in strategic research areas including Digital Twins and PERSEUS doctoral program. He also contributes to Gemini centers focusing on future road transport, medical imaging AI, and extended realities.
