Dr. Frank J. Daly is an Associate Professor of Biomedical Sciences at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine. His research focuses on vertebrate retinal biology using molecular techniques to study melanopsin in fish retinas, Morbillivirus effects in marine mammals, and retinal vascular defects in rodents. He holds a Ph.D. in Anatomy and Neurobiology from Boston University and previously worked at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute.
Research Interests: Neural development, immuno-histochemistry, and molecular analysis of retinal and spinal cord pathologies across species.
