Frank Derby

Frank Derby is Professor of Civil Engineering and Director of Engineering Technology Division at Rowan University's Henry M. Rowan College of Engineering, where he leads the Survey Engineering Technology program.

His professional expertise includes:

• Curriculum development for surveying engineering technology education
• Field surveying methodologies and geospatial applications
• International surveying practices across multiple continents

Derby collaborates extensively with industry partners including the New Jersey Society of Professional Land Surveyors to develop workforce-ready educational programs.

With international consulting experience for World Bank and UN agencies, he brings global perspective to geospatial engineering education.
