Franjo Weissing

Franjo Weissing is Professor of Theoretical Biology at the University of Groningen, specializing in evolutionary game theory, behavioral ecology, and cultural evolution. His research examines dynamics of social behavior, evolutionary systems, and adaptive mechanisms.

Recent work develops neural network models to understand the evolution of social learning and adaptation in changing environments. He leads projects on social determinants of evolvability and eco-evo-devo of social personalities.
