Francois-Xavier Morisset

François-Xavier Morisset is a Lecturer-Researcher in Private Law and Criminal Sciences at the University of La Rochelle's Faculty of Law and Political Science. He serves as co-head of the Master's in Insurance Law program and is affiliated with the CEJLR Research Team. His research focuses on international judicial systems, particularly the recognition and enforcement of foreign judgments in France.

Morisset's publications examine topics including the effectiveness of foreign injunctive judgments, de facto recognition of foreign rulings, and the relationship between European Community law and private international law. He teaches courses on Private International Law, Nationality Law, and International Private Litigation at both Master's and undergraduate levels.
