Francois Mifsud

Dr. Francois Mifsud serves as Senior Lecturer and Head of the Department of Inclusion and Access to Learning within the Faculty of Education at the University of Malta.

His research centers on dismantling educational barriers through inclusive pedagogy and systemic accessibility frameworks. Work spans disability accommodation, marginalized learner engagement, curriculum adaptation, policy reform for equitable access, multilingual learning environments, and teacher training for inclusive classrooms—prioritizing practical implementation over theoretical discourse.

As Department Head, he directs strategic initiatives for inclusive education while maintaining active teaching responsibilities across undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
