Francisco Leyva-Leon is a Professor of Clinical Cardiology at Aston Medical School, Aston University, and Clinical Director of the Aston Medical Research Institute. He is also a Consultant Cardiologist at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Trust, based at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
