Francisco J. Doblas-Reyes is a Research Professor at the Institució Catalana de Recerca i Estudis Avançats (ICREA) and Director of the Earth Sciences Department at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC) since November 2014. Previously, he led the Climate Forecasting Unit at the Institut Català de Ciències del Clima (IC3) from 2010 to 2015. His academic career spans institutions including the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF), CNRM (Météo-France), and the Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
