Francesco Sala is a Full Professor and Chair of Neurosurgery at the University of Verona. His research focuses on Pediatric Neurosurgery and Intraoperative Neurophysiology, particularly in tumor surgery and functional preservation. He established the Intraoperative Neurophysiology Unit at Verona's Neurosurgery Department and co-founded the International Society for Intraoperative Neurophysiology (ISIN).
