Francesco Paneni

Francesco Paneni is a Professor and Group Leader in Cardiovascular Epigenetics at the Department of Cardiology, with a focus on understanding how environmental factors interact with epigenetic mechanisms to drive cardiovascular disease. His research spans heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF), diabetes-related CVD, aging, and metabolic disorders.
