Dr. Francesco Fontanella is an Associate Professor at the Department of Electric and Information Engineering (DIEI) at the University of Cassino and Southern Lazio. His research focuses on evolutionary computation, machine learning, and their applications in neurodegenerative disease detection (e.g., Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s), cultural heritage preservation, and environmental monitoring.
