Francesco Ciari is an Associate Professor in Civil, Geological and Mining Engineering at Polytechnique Montréal. His research focuses on transportation planning, agent-based modeling, shared mobility systems, autonomous vehicles, and sustainable transport solutions.
He supervises graduate students in mobility behavior modeling and has developed novel simulation frameworks for urban transportation systems. His recent publications examine spatial population synthesis, shared autonomous vehicles, and sustainable mobility infrastructure.
