Francesca Sofia Alexandratos

Francesca Sofia Alexandratos is a Researcher at the Department of Philosophy and Cultural Heritage at Ca' Foscari University of Venice. She holds the SSD qualification in Aesthetics [PHIL-04/A] and is affiliated with the Centre of Ethics, Politics and Society (CEPS) at the Universidade do Minho.

• Education: PhD in Philosophy (Doctor Europaeus) from the University of Parma.
• Research Focus: Critical theory, social philosophy, philosophical anthropology, with emphasis on social recognition, vulnerability theory, and naturalistic humanism.
• Projects: Leads "Transactional life and vulnerability" funded by the EU's PNRR - Mission 4, Component 2, Investment 1.2.
• Academic Roles: Adjunct professor and tutor at Ca' Foscari University and the University of Bologna since 2022; Director of CEPS since 2024.
