Francesca Ciotoli

Francesca Ciotoli is an Assistant Professor of Teacher Education at St. Thomas Aquinas College (STAC). She holds a doctorate in Teacher Education and Development from Montclair State University (2018) and a master’s in education from Fordham University. Her research focuses on inclusive education, emphasizing holistic approaches that address students’ cultural, psychological, and intellectual needs. She has authored scholarly articles and book chapters on learning diversity and curriculum development.

Dr. Ciotoli has taught elementary and middle school in NYC public schools and served as an inclusion consultant for the NYC Department of Education and Montclair State University. Her professional affiliations include membership in the New Jersey Coalition for Inclusive Education. Courses taught at STAC include Teacher Education programs.

Her career highlights include mentoring students like Heba Abdou, now a special education teaching assistant. Beyond academia, she maintains a passion for opera (specializing in Puccini and Strauss) and dreams of performing the National Anthem at a New York Rangers game.
