Frances Corner

Professor Frances Corner is the Vice-Chancellor of Goldsmiths, University of London, the first woman to hold this role. She leads the Executive Board, overseeing major policy decisions and institutional governance. With over 20 years in higher education leadership, she previously served as Head of the London College of Fashion, Pro-Vice-Chancellor at the University of the Arts London, and held roles at London Metropolitan University and the University of Gloucestershire.

Her advocacy focuses on climate action, arts education equity, and institutional sustainability. She chairs the Maudsley Charity and has held leadership positions with the International Foundation of Fashion Technology Institutes and the House of Illustration. Her OBE (2009) recognizes contributions to fashion education and widening participation.
