François Ribac is a Professor at the Faculty of Letters and Philosophy, University of Burgundy. His research explores the intersection of popular music, performing arts, technology history, and cultural prescription with a strong focus on Anthropocene impacts. He holds a Habilitation (HDR) from Sorbonne University and has authored significant works including the book Performing Arts and Music in the Anthropocene (2024).
