François Ribac

François Ribac is a Professor at the Faculty of Letters and Philosophy, University of Burgundy. His research explores the intersection of popular music, performing arts, technology history, and cultural prescription with a strong focus on Anthropocene impacts. He holds a Habilitation (HDR) from Sorbonne University and has authored significant works including the book Performing Arts and Music in the Anthropocene (2024).

Research interests span cultural policy analysis, digital transformations in music, and ecological dimensions of artistic practice. Key themes include:
