Fraidy N. Maltz

Dr. Fraidy N. Maltz is an Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice at the Arnold & Marie Schwartz College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, Long Island University. She serves as a Full-Time Clinical Pharmacist and Preceptor at Walgreens in New York City, overseeing clinical programs and Medication Therapy Management (MTM) electives. Her academic roles include teaching, student portfolio development, and preceptor training. She earned both her B.S. and Pharm.D. from LIU Pharmacy, following a family tradition of pharmacists from LIU.

Dr. Maltz’s research focuses on community pharmacy practice, medication adherence, and pharmacy education innovations. Her work spans drug efficacy reviews (e.g., emergency contraception, Parkinson’s treatments) and alternative medicine practices in pharmacies. She has contributed to peer-reviewed journals and professional publications.
