Research Interests: Dr. Toadere's research spans multiple areas in optical imaging and image processing. His expertise includes Medical optical imaging, Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT), spectroscopy, colorimetry, optomechanical design, and dispersion and diffraction of light. He has developed software for modeling digital camera pipelines and image processing algorithms for raw image reconstruction and enhancement. His work combines theoretical understanding with practical applications in medical imaging and optical systems design.
Research Projects: Dr. Toadere has served as Partner team leader for multiple significant research projects. These include "Dispersion in optical configurations and sources for Optical Coherence Tomography" (2013-2016) with University of Kent, "Modeling the operation of a digital camera pipeline" (2010-2013) with Technical University of Cluj Napoca, "Bioinformatics of gene sequences involved in prokaryotic cell division" (2005-2008), and "Researches regarding of a high performance chromatograph manufacturing" (2001-2003).
