Florin LAZA is a Research Fellow at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, Romania. He holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from both the University of Poitiers, France, and the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca (2005). His research focuses on CAD of electromechanical devices, electric drives field analysis, design and control of small electric motors, and electric traction vehicles. He has conducted research in Germany, the United States, and France under programs like the NSF Grant ECS-9702370.
