Florian Wichlas

Florian Wichlas is an Associate Professor in the Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology at Paracelsus Medical University, Salzburg, Austria. He concurrently serves as Dean of Teaching in Medicine within the President's Office. His research focuses on orthopedic trauma, bone regeneration, and minimally invasive surgical techniques, with a particular interest in cost-effective medical practices and global healthcare equity. Over 16 years (2009–2025), he has authored 56 publications and led 2 major research projects on bone healing mechanisms and trauma care optimization.
