Florian Lippert is an Associate Professor in European Culture and Literature and Director of the Research Centre for the Study of Democratic Cultures and Politics (DemCP) at the University of Groningen. He holds ius promovendi and serves as Programme Director of the Graduate School for the Humanities. His research focuses on European cultural identity, migration, and political discourse, with notable projects like the EU-funded 'Protecting European Values.' He has held positions at King's College London, Sungshin University Seoul, and the Netherlands Institute for Advanced Study (NIAS).
