Prof. Florian Edler holds a professorship in Music Theory at the University of the Arts Bremen (HfK Bremen), serving as Dean of the Music Department since 2022. He previously held lecturer positions at UdK Berlin, HfK Bremen, and Weimar's Franz Liszt University of Music. His academic background includes a PhD from UdK Berlin (2009) and extensive administrative experience, including managing a professorship at Hochschule Osnabrück (2013–15).
