Florian Dürlinger is an External Lecturer at the University of Vienna's Department of Developmental and Educational Psychology. His research examines relationships between religiosity, cognitive abilities, and aging using large-scale surveys and meta-analytic techniques.
Current projects investigate longitudinal cognitive decline patterns in European cohorts using SHARE data and differential associations between crystallized intelligence and religiosity/spirituality. His methodological work includes multiverse analysis approaches for psychological research.
Recent conference presentations address cognitive trajectories in aging populations and methodological challenges in religiosity-intelligence research. Dürlinger collaborates with the Vienna Cognitive Science Hub on quantitative psychology projects.
