Florent Ginhoux

Florent Ginhoux is a Researcher at Gustave Roussy's Tumor Immunology and Cancer Immunotherapy Program (U1015). He leads the Florent Ginhoux Laboratory (ginhouxlab.com), focusing on myeloid cell biology in cancer progression and immunotherapy development. His team integrates spatial transcriptomics (Visium HD, Xenium), single-cell RNA sequencing, and MACSIMA spatial proteomics to dissect tumor-immune interactions.

His research spans pediatric oncology (brain tumors, neuroblastomas, sarcomas) and adult cancers (pancreatic, head/neck carcinomas). Key projects include

• Developing iPSC-derived macrophages for patient-specific tumor modeling
• Characterizing TREM2+ multinucleated macrophages as prognostic indicators
• Creating MoMac-VERSE and DC-VERSE compendiums for cross-tissue myeloid cell analysis
