Florence Marie Momplaisir

Florence Marie Momplaisir, MD, MSHP, FACP is an Associate Professor in the Division of Infectious Diseases at the Perelman School of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania. She serves as Vice Chair for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in Infectious Diseases and directs the Penn CFAR Implementation Science Core. Her clinical practice is based at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

Her research focuses on implementation science, HIV care continuum outcomes, and racial disparities in HIV prevalence. She utilizes peer-led interventions, community-based approaches, and mixed-method research to address systemic inequities in healthcare delivery. Recent projects include leveraging barbershops for vaccine outreach and examining the impact of anti-DEI policies on health outcomes.
