Florence Canouï-Poitrine is a Professor of Public Health at the Health Faculty of Paris-Est Créteil University. She teaches epidemiology, clinical research, and public health to medical, allied health, nursing, and scientific students. She co-leads the Clinical Epidemiology and Ageing (CEPIA) research team at the Mondor Biomedical Research Institute, focusing on frailty and multimorbidity in older cancer patients.
Her research integrates epidemiology and geriatric medicine to address the complexities of aging populations in oncology. She has authored over 150 international publications and serves as Principal Investigator and Scientific Director for 10 clinical trials or cohorts targeting older cancer patients.
The CEPIA team under her leadership contributes to advancing patient-centered care models and quality assessment in healthcare systems.
