Dr. Florence C. Hsia is Professor of History of Science and David Hall and Margie Devereaux Professor of History at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. She also serves as Associate Vice Chancellor for Research in Arts & Humanities and Associate Dean for Graduate Education.
Her research examines scientific knowledge exchange across cultures, focusing on astronomy, cartography, and print culture in early modern Europe and China. She teaches courses on scientific revolutions and historical methodologies.
