Flavia Laviosa is a Senior Lecturer in Italian Studies at Wellesley College, affiliated with both the Department of French, Francophone, and Italian Studies and the Cinema and Media Studies Program. She specializes in representations of gender violence in global cinema and has made significant editorial contributions to Italian film studies.
