Flamos Alexandros

Dr. Flamos Alexandros is a Professor at the University of Piraeus (Department of Industrial Management & Technology) and Vice-Chair of the Department. He leads the Techno-Economic Energy Systems Laboratory and serves as an editorial board member of Energy Sources, Part B: Economics, Planning, and Policy. With over 20 years of expertise, his work focuses on Decision Support Systems, Energy Management, and Policy Analysis, addressing energy security, decarbonization, and climate policy.

His research spans energy system modeling, policy evaluation, and renewable energy integration, supported by over 30 EU-funded projects (FP5-FP7, H2020, etc.) and collaborations with international organizations like the European Investment Bank. He has published over 100 peer-reviewed articles, earning awards from the Thomaïdios Foundation and international journals.
