Flaminia Sacca'

Flaminia Sacca' is a Full Professor of Political Sociology at Sapienza University of Rome, affiliated with the Department of Developmental and Socialization Psychology. Her research focuses on gender-based violence representation in media and legal contexts, political cultures, and leadership in digital age. She leads the STEP Observatory on media representation of male violence against women and chairs the National STEP Research and Information Observatory. Sacca' has held academic leadership roles, including Director of the SPRI Degree Program at the University of Tuscia and membership in national and international academic committees. Her work integrates sociological analysis with gender studies, emphasizing societal stereotypes and power asymmetries. Recent projects include EU-funded initiatives addressing gender violence and pandemic governance.
