Firdaous Sekkay is an Assistant Professor at Polytechnique Montréal's Department of Mathematical and Industrial Engineering. She holds a PhD from Polytechnique Montréal, a M.Sc.A from Arts & Métiers ParisTech, and a B.Eng from ENSAM-Meknès, all in Industrial Engineering. Her research focuses on preventing musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) and identifying risk factors in dynamic work environments, employing mixed-method approaches combining observations, direct measurements, and self-assessments.
