Fiona Williams

Dr. Fiona Williams is a Senior Lecturer in Rural Land Use and Management at Harper Adams University, affiliated with the Harper Adams Business School. Her expertise spans rural geography, digital economy, and agricultural policy, with a focus on rural resilience and societal challenges. She holds memberships in the Royal Geographical Society and the Higher Education Academy.

Fiona Williams holds a BA, M.Phil., and PhD, as well as Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA).

Her research interests include rural geography, digital engagement in rural areas, agricultural transitions, and policy impacts on farming communities. She explores digital inclusion, social vulnerability in rural regions, and the interplay between technology and cultural values in agriculture.
