Associate Professor Fiona Martin is an Honorary Associate in the Discipline of Media and Communications at the University of Sydney. She holds affiliations with the Sydney Environment Institute and the Charles Perkins Centre. Her research focuses on digital journalism, media governance, and platform regulation, with notable works including Digital Platform Regulation: Global Perspectives on Internet Governance (2022) and Sharing News Online (2019). Fiona sits on the editorial boards of Digital Journalism and Journal of Digital Media & Policy, and holds leadership roles in IAMCR and JERAA.
