Fiona MacGregor

Fiona MacGregor is a Ph.D. candidate at Simon Fraser University's School of Communication. She concurrently serves as a Sessional Instructor at Athabasca University, Mount Royal University, and the University of Calgary, focusing on Women's Studies modules related to women and health/technology intersections. Her academic journey includes a Master of Women's Studies (MWS) from Memorial University of Newfoundland, where her thesis explored gender dynamics in computer programming and internet usage.

Her current research emphasizes knowledge translation through analysis of electronic health records to guide stakeholder decisions in health information systems. Fiona contributes to the Assessment of Technology in Context Design (ATIC) Lab as an alumni member, reflecting her interdisciplinary engagement with technology's societal impacts.
