Fintan Sutton

Fintan Sutton is a Lecturer in Clarinet and Saxophone at the Royal Irish Academy of Music (RIAM), specializing in Wind, Brass & Percussion. He joined RIAM in 1997 after a career as clarinet/bass clarinetist with the R.T.E. National Symphony Orchestra from 1987 onward. His teaching focuses on contemporary music and performance, with notable collaborations involving composition students at N.U.I. Maynooth and Trinity College. His students have achieved significant accolades, including scholarships to institutions like Berkeley College of Music.
