Findley Finseth is an Associate Professor of Genomics in the Natural Sciences Department at the Claremont Colleges. Her research program investigates evolutionary drivers of biodiversity using genomic analyses of natural populations and classical genetics experiments. Current projects focus on Mimulus wildflowers, examining selfish gene evolution, thermal adaptation, and speciation mechanisms.
Her work has been published in journals including Molecular Biology and Evolution and Proceedings of the Royal Society B, supported by funding from NSF and the Mellon Foundation.
