Filipa Pires Da Silva

Filipa Pires Da Silva is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Management, Instituto Superior de Economia e Gestão (ISEG), part of the University of Lisbon (ULisboa). She holds a PhD in Management from ISEG (2016) and a Bachelor’s in Informatic Engineering from the University of Lisbon’s Faculty of Sciences and Technology (2007). Her research focuses on digital burnout, remote work dynamics, knowledge sharing in IT teams, and sustainable HR practices. She has served in key institutional roles, including membership in the ISEG Gender Equality Plan (2018) and the 2030 Sustainability Strategy Group (2021).

Her research interests include digital transformation challenges, organizational behavior in tech environments, and the intersection of education and technology. Recent work explores digital burnout’s impact on consumer platforms and remote worker well-being, emphasizing evidence-based solutions for innovative organizations. She has extensively supervised over 20 master’s theses on topics ranging from digital burnout mitigation to employer branding in tech sectors.

Her publications span journals like Technological Forecasting and Social Change and Journal of Business Research, addressing sustainability practices and leadership in information systems projects. She coordinates courses in data visualization, information systems, and digital transformation at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
