Filip Ludka is an Assistant Professor at the Furniture Design Studio within the Faculty of Architecture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk. Since 2013, he has collaborated with Professor Halina Kościukiewicz to guide students in furniture and industrial design, emphasizing conscious creation and global design trends.
He graduated from the Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning at the Gdańsk University of Technology (Poland) and studied at the École nationale supérieure d'architecture de Grenoble (France). His work focuses on exploring materials like wood and plywood, blending natural motifs with modern geometry and vibrant colors.
As co-founder of the Tabanda group (2009), Ludka has earned international acclaim. Their designs have won three Must Have Awards at ŁDF, an IFF nomination, and accolades such as the Pappel Design Preiss (DMY Berlin) and Designer of the Year (Design Alive Awards 2014).
