Fidan Karimova

Fidan Karimova is a PhD Researcher at the University of Queensland, affiliated with the Centre since October 2023. Her work focuses on enhancing law enforcement operations through innovative data discovery systems, supported by government partner Queensland Police Service (QPS).

Research Interests: Fidan’s research centers on Data as a Service Architecture, leveraging data science and AI to develop systems that improve societal outcomes, particularly in law enforcement collaboration. Her project integrates interdisciplinary methodologies to address operational challenges in policing through advanced data discovery.

Collaborations: She actively engages with the Centre’s team and QPS to explore data-driven solutions, supervised by experts including Dr Rocky Chen, Dr Wen Hua, and Professor Shazia Sadiq.
