Dr. Feyzi Ismail is Lecturer in Global Policy and Activism and Co-convenor of MA Postcolonial Culture and Global Policy at Goldsmiths, University of London. Her research examines the intersections of climate change, labor movements, and anti-imperialist struggles, with regional expertise in Nepal and South Asia.
Her work analyzes contemporary protest movements, climate crisis politics, and the changing nature of work in the Global South. Current research investigates women construction workers' collectivization in Nepal and the strategic lessons from historical movements like the Suffragettes for today's climate activists.
She serves on the editorial board of Capital & Class and has published extensively on NGOs, social movements, and the neoliberal state.
