Fernando Vidal is a Research Professor at the Catalan Institution of Research and Advanced Studies (ICREA) since 2012 and holds concurrent appointments as Professor at the Center for the History of Science (CEHIC), Autonomous University of Barcelona (2013–present), and Associate Member at the Centre Alexandre Koyré, Paris (2016–present). His academic career spans institutions including the Max Planck Institute for the History of Science, Harvard University, and the University of Geneva.
