Fernando Porté-Agel is a Full Professor at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), leading the Wind Engineering and Renewable Energy Laboratory (WIRE) within the School of Architecture, Civil and Environmental Engineering (ENAC). His expertise spans Environmental Fluid Mechanics, Turbulence, and Wind Energy. He holds a Ph.D. from Johns Hopkins University (1999) and has held academic positions at the University of Minnesota before joining EPFL in 2010.
