Fernando Castillo

Dr. Fernando Castillo is an Assistant Professor in the PT Programs at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences, College of Rehabilitative Sciences, Dallas campus. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Physical Therapy and Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Central Arkansas, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Arkansas. His research focuses on Neurological Rehabilitation and Concussion Assessment and Management.

With extensive clinical experience in outpatient orthopedic, acute care, and inpatient rehabilitation settings, Dr. Castillo previously served as lead outpatient therapist overseeing multidisciplinary rehabilitation teams. He maintains active clinical practice and is a certified Emergency Medical Technician involved in local paramedic education.
