Fernando Antich Barcelo

Fernando Antich Barcelo is a part-time lecturer at the University of the Balearic Islands (UIB), specializing in Administrative Law and Public Law. He teaches courses such as Derecho Administrativo for Business Administration, Economics, and Tourism programs, and Derecho for Construction studies. Since March 2021, he serves as Legal Officer at the Port Authority of the Balearic Islands, while also tutoring at the Balearic School of Public Administration (EBAP). Previously, he worked as an international civil servant managing international public procurement (2016-2020) and led the European iBUY project (2020-2021) focused on innovative public procurement.

His research and teaching interests include administrative law frameworks, international procurement regulations, and intersections between law and tourism economics.

He has been on leave from his civil servant role (since 2012) to pursue academic and project-based work.
