Fernanda Beigel is a Principal Researcher at Argentina's National Council of Scientific Research (CONICET) and Head Professor at the National University of Cuyo, where she directs the PhD program in Social Sciences. She founded and leads the Research Center on International Circulation of Knowledge (CECIC), which coordinates projects on academic publishing, open science, and knowledge equity in Latin America. Her affiliations include chairing Argentina’s National Committee for Open Science and advising UNESCO on global open-access policies.
